The Gold Heart Gala enables Variety to continue to our mission to support disabled and disadvantaged children and their families in the Bay Area and throughout Northern California. For over 60 years we have provided wheelchairs, adaptive bicycles, hospital support, and funeral expense support, among countless other resources, to Bay Area families. We strive to provide crucial relief services not covered by insurance, state medical programs or other community interests. Our Mobility Program provides wheelchairs, adaptive bicycles; our Compassion fund gives families hospital support, funeral expense support, and simple every day help, among countless other resources. Our Variety@Work program gives kids a chance to have a day out, to have fun, and just be a kid, no matter what their daily circumstances may be.
